Linear Guideways

In an effort to meet customers' requirement and service needs, Kunix offers several different types of guides. Linear motion guideways, often referred to simply as "linear guides" or "linear rails," are mechanical components used in machinery and automation equipment.

Linear motion guideways consist of two main components: linear guide and linear block. We can pronounce this as rail and block or guide and carriage. A rail is a long, narrow, and usually straight piece that serves as the guiding surface. A block is a component that moves along the rail, is guided by it, and usually supports the load that needs to be moved linearly. LM blocks are often equipped with rolling elements such as ball bearings or rollers to reduce friction and enable smooth motion.
